BaniaLuka is located on Plac Szczepanski 6, very close to the Main Market Square. Unlike other bars and eateries, this place stays open 24/7 which is very good to know.

Students and tourists alike regularly frequent this bar for the low prices, good food, drink and unforgettable vibes. The bar is quite long and is decorated in a style hailing back to the 1920's. The seating is arranged in a way as to encourage a bit of mingling with the locals or with other tourists. For those who want a quick drink and a bite to eat before moving on somewhere else it is an ideal option. It is also a place to bear in mind if you don't want the party to end so soon.

There is a fixed price on everything with all food 8zl (two Euro) and all drinks for 4zl (one Euro). Cherry, honey and lemon vodka are just a sample of the Polish alcoholic treats which are popular among locals and a must for tourists. Wsciekly Pies (Mad Dog), a mixture of vodka, raspberry juice and hot tabasco sauce is another popular choice. Try some local Polish beer or choose from wine, Jagermeister, whiskey or other cold drink or hot drinks. The food here is heavy, ideal for soaking up the alcoholic beverages you intend to drink. Choose from homemade dumplings, herring, Polish sausage, beef tartare, sour rye soup, bigos (sour cabbage with sausage) and more and again for a reasonable 2 Euro!

In the summer, there is a seating area on the square where you can watch the world go by on the very recently renovated Szczepanski Square. For sports fans, another selling point is the big screen, perfect for watching big events on.
