Chopin

Chopin Restaurant, named after Poland's most famous classical musician Fryderyk Chopin, is a primly located traditional Polish restaurant in the historic Old Town. Murals of famous Polish art works lines the passage to the entrance of this restaurant. Step inside and be comforted by classic music which immediately gives the impression of sophistication.

The furniture is tasteful with a brown stone tiled wooden floor, comfortable cushioned seating and smooth colours and lighting. Large mirrors are reminiscent of another time with wonderful gold decorative frames. The stained glass image above the bar is also something to look out for. Large ceramic pots contain box hedges which complement the smooth archways and give the impression you are in a courtyard from another era. At present there are four main rooms with seating for up to 75 people with an extra smoking room planned in the near future.

Typical Polish dishes include Polish rye flour soup, Tomato soup and chicken broth with noodles for starters. Main courses include ribs, pork chop and friend potato cakes. There is also the option of pasta and fish options. Desserts include apple tart, homemade cheese cake and a variety of ice cream to enjoy. To drink there is Polish beer, a rich selection of Polish and international spirits, hot drinks and cocktails.

At Chopin Restaurant, business meetings, birthday parties and other special events can all be organised with excellent service guaranteed from the staff at Chopin who are keen to please. Classical concerts are planned in the future. In the summer, there is a garden where you can also dine and bask in the good weather while enjoying good food and drink.
