Don't be deceived by the unremarkable entrance to this rather exclusive shopping complex to be found in two very old town houses. Once you get inside be prepared to be bowled over by the design and architecture of this compact, multi-floored shopping experience. This place has the luxury traveller in mind - a flurry of expensive-looking shops will have you admiring the merchandise but thinking about your budget at the same time.

If it is an exclusive gift you are after, Pasaz 13 should be able to meet the needs of the most discerning shopper. Dolce & Gabbana, Vero Moda as well as numerous other elegant little shops offer the kind of designs you would find in some of Europe's most expensive shopping cities.

Once you have had a look around the upper floors, nip down to the basement and take in the bar and deli. Bar 13 is a lovely space and very relaxed. Great Italian coffee and pastries will keep you fuelled for a bit more shopping upstairs. A great choice of wine by the glass coupled with a fresh pannini or some delicious antipasti is a great choice if you want something a little more than a snack.

While you are downstairs, a browse around the deli will almost certainly have you spending yet more money. Home to even more mouth-watering Italiana - in the form of meats, cheese, bread and delicious chocolates and sweets - the smells inside are worth a visit alone.

The English-speaking staff in the complex are helpful and geared up for tourists. The central location of the complex means a shopping diversion won't take up much of your valuable sightseeing time. Just don't forget your credit card.
